This summer, Urquhart Butterfly Garden is offering a Summer Education series! Starting in August and running through the end of September, we will be offering weekly (or perhaps even more frequent) events in the garden. The backbone of this series will be regular guided walks through the garden lead by skilled local naturalists to help find and identify the many species of butterflies  and birds that make use of the garden. We will also offer workshops on organic gardening, the history of the Desjardins Canal and the Port of Dundas, and local conservation and restoration projects, among many others.

We will be confirming details of this series over the coming weeks and all updates will be posted here as they are confirmed. You can also follow us Twitter at @urquhartbg, find us on Facebook, or reach us by email at urquhartbutterfly@gmail.com.
