Photographing the Garden for Young & Old

If you are relatively new to taking photos of nature and would like to improve your skill, Photographing the Garden for Young & Old is for you. The session is on Saturday, August 19 at 11 am.

Several Urquhart Butterfly Garden ‘regulars’ will be showing what to look for and simple tricks on how to take better photos. Young people are especially welcome, and will receive individual attention. No fancy equipment is needed, any inexpensive camera or digital device will be fine. You will see what may be hiding and learn a bit about the many species that live right under our noses.

You are requested to wear a hat and bring a chair. Lots of free parking available. The Summer Series will be held every Saturday until September 2. For more information, please visit

The Summer Series 2017 is funded by the Dougher Fund of the Hamilton Community Foundation.
